A tapestry of Choices
A myriad of Decisions
Often we falter and fall
Like a mom who bursts out laughing
At her fallen child with a little tear
And a bruised knee

Breaks out in
Laughter like silver bells tinkling
Take yourself less seriously
Position, fame, acclaim, riches
The praise of men
Meaningless, amounting to nothing
Choose to Laugh
Choose to be Contented
Choose to believe and accept yourself
Choose to see life as beautiful
The paths will be rough
Bumpy and narrow even
Darkness will often befall
And baffle even the wisest of us
But the sun still shines
Rainbows still appear
Miracles still happen
All of creation
The floral and fauna,
The birds of the air
The beasts that walk our land
All sing and shout and praise their maker
Not going let no rock cry out
Life is beautiful whether
You like it or not
Whether you see it or not
Pain is still there, the gnawing at the heart
The pearly ache that cries for home and love
But life is beautiful
It just is
Believe it or not
It's a choice
